Shalbon Bihar

Shalbon Bihar is historical and archeological places around Comilla. These are a series of hillocks, where the Northern part is called Moinamoti and the Southern part is called Lalmai; and Shalbon Bihar is in the Middle of Lalmai and Moinamoti, which was established in 8th century by King Buddadev. Shalbon Bihar, almost in the middle of the Moinamoti-Lalmai hill range consists of 115 cells, built around a spacious courtyard with cruciform temple in the centre facing its only gateway complex to the north resembling that of the Paharpur Monastery. Moinamoti is 114 km. from Dhaka city and is just a day's trip by road on way to Chittagong.

In scenery wise if we measure the Shalbon Bihar its beauty is amazing. Lots of thing you can see there. Maximum cent people visit there in their holidays. If you can see it in different part wise like, eastern, northern, southern, and western part then you realizes its beauty and imagine its scenery in your mind forever. Every part you can see its beauty in different categories. So ultimately it’s attractive for scenery and also a tourist spot in Bangladesh.
